Hit Streak Club is independently operated by Dan Poggetti. These terms govern your use of hitstreakclub.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
Who can play
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. Provide an accurate email address, keep your login secure, and tell support@hitstreakclub.com if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not impersonate someone else or share access to another person’s account.
Free play and future pricing
The service is currently free. It is a recreational baseball pick’em game: we do not accept wagers, operate betting pools, or offer cash prizes. Points, streaks, badges, and standings have no monetary value. Do not use the service to organize unlawful gambling.
If paid features are introduced to help cover operating costs, we will explain the price and terms in advance. You will not be charged unless you affirmatively agree to a purchase. We currently display no advertising.
Picks, locks, and scoring
The game’s displayed rules and deadlines explain how daily picks, alternates, and optional weekly selections work. Daily picks lock at the day’s published cutoff based on the first scheduled game, rather than separately for each selected player. Weekly selections have a separate weekly cutoff. Save your changes before the applicable lock; selecting a player without saving does not submit a pick.
Baseball schedules, injuries, lineups, postponements, and official results can change. Data feeds may be delayed, incomplete, or corrected. We may correct scores, standings, achievements, or invalid entries to reflect reliable data and fair play. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, successful last-minute submissions, or the accuracy of third-party data. We will communicate material changes to game rules through the service.
Leagues and fair play
League creators choose their league’s name and presentation and manage invitations and membership. Invite codes are intended for people you choose to invite; they are not a guarantee of confidentiality. League owners may remove or block members. Do not harass others, upload illegal or infringing material, expose someone’s private information, manipulate scoring, bypass locks or access controls, automate abusive traffic, or interfere with the service.
Your uploads and our materials
You retain ownership of content you upload. You must have the rights and permissions needed to share it. You grant us a nonexclusive license to store, resize, display, and otherwise process that content only as needed to operate and protect the service. The license ends when the content is deleted, except for limited backup or legally required retention.
Our original branding, design, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the site and its sharing features for their intended purposes. Baseball names, team marks, player images, and third-party data belong to their respective owners. Hit Streak Club is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Major League Baseball, its teams, or its players.
Account closure
To request deletion, email support@hitstreakclub.com. We will verify ownership and confirm completion; league owners may need to arrange transfer or closure of their leagues. Our Privacy Policy describes retention and the inactivity review process, including at least 30 days’ notice before closure for 24 months or more of inactivity.
We may restrict or suspend accounts for abuse, security risks, unlawful conduct, or material violations of these terms. Where practical, we will explain the reason and allow you to contact support for review. We may change or discontinue features or the service, with reasonable notice when practical.
Availability and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights.
Changes and contact
We will post updated terms with a new date and provide notice of material changes through the site or email when appropriate or required. Changes apply prospectively. If a change requires fresh agreement, we will request it. You may stop using the service and request account deletion if you do not accept revised terms.
